Informatica PowerCenter - Level I Developer
This four-day, instructor led course introduces students to Informatica PowerCenter 9.x through lecture and hands-on exercises. The course is designed for Developers who are new to Informatica PowerCenter. Informatica PowerCenter is a collection of thick client workbench tools that Developers can use to create, execute, monitor and schedule ETL processes. The course will introduce attendees to working with the PowerCenter Designer, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor tools, performing tasks such as creating transformations, mappings, reusable objects, sessions and workflows to extract, transform and load data. They will develop cleansing, formatting, sorting and aggregating procedures. They can learn how to use routers, update strategies, parameters /variables and overrides. This course will cover many different types of lookups, such as cached, persistent, dynamic and multiple row returns.

Informatica PowerCenter - Level II Developer
This four day, instructor-led course complements and extends "PowerCenter 9.x Level One Developer" with advanced topics and extended labs. The course is intended for developers with more than six months of PowerCenter 9.x experience. Topics covered include: High Availability, Pipeline Lookup and Dynamic Lookup expressions, the SQL transformation, and the Transaction Control transformation. Additional topics include extended use of parameter files, pivoting data, session and workflow recovery, use of command line utilities, and Mapping Architect for Visio. The course includes an extensive series of performance tuning workshops that include methodology, mapping design and cache management with memory optimization.

Informatica PowerCenter Administrator
In this four-day, instructor-led course students will learn to administer the Informatica PowerCenter Platform. The course is intended for Informatica PowerCenter administrators with one year or more of professional experience or having attended Informatica PowerCenter Level 1 Developer training class. Topics covered include: Informatica 9 architecture, installing the platform, configuring add and manage services, and platform best practices for users, groups, privileges, roles, and permissions. Additional topics include backing up and migration of the Informatica domain database, implementing repository metadata reporting, using the command line, and setting up Reference Table Management.

Informatica Data Quality Developer I
This four day, instructor-led course introduces students to Informatica Data Quality 9.x through lecture and hands-on exercises. The course is designed for Developers who are new to Informatica Data Quality. Informatica Developer is a thick client workbench tool that developers can use to profile, cleanse, standardize, de duplicate and consolidate data in an enterprise. The course will introduce attendees to working with the Developer Tool, performing tasks such as creating projects and objects, profiling data and identifying anomalies. It will cover developing mappings and mapplets for use in processes such as data standardization, address validation, identifying duplicate records and consolidation. This course will provide users with a high-level overview of the Informatica Data Quality Process and will set the foundation for the processes that follow.

Informatica Data Quality Developer II

Data Quality Administrator
This three day class is enables the student to administer an Informatica Data Quality environment. Topics include the Informatica 9.5.x architecture, platform configuration, applicable application services, security and management of the Informatica domain. The Content Management Service, including installation and configuration of content is described. The Reporting and Dashboards Service will be created and configured.

Data Quality Analyst
This two day course introduces the student to the Informatica 9 Analyst Tool through lecture and hands-on exercises. Informatica Analyst is a web-based application client that analysts can use to analyze, profile, and score data in an enterprise. The course will introduce users to working with the Analyst Tool, creating projects, objects and mapping specifications, profiling data and identifying anomalies using tags and comments. It will demonstrate how to use profiling results to build reference tables and scorecards, and how to collaborate with Developers using shared projects, rules, comments and tags. Topics covered include: Column and Rule Profiling, Reference Table Management, Data Quality Scorecards, Exception and Duplicate record management in Informatica Data Director and Project Collaboration.
