Knowledge Integration Dynamics (KID) was formed in 1999 to address a clearly identified need in the South African corporate market for high-performance business intelligence solutions. The company has since evolved into a comprehensive and successful data management business.

Our mission is to develop the data integrity and business intelligence (BI) capability of our customers through the provision of application solutions, software components and comprehensive services to enable better business decisions.

The late 1990s and early 21st century have been and will continue to be noteworthy for the advent of new-style business applications such as e-business, customer relationship management and knowledge management. In addition, many thousands of organisations have implemented ERP systems. Common to all these applications is the customer and business related data that flows through and between them, and management's need to obtain a cohesive view of this data and turn it into meaningful information.

To develop the data integrity and business intelligence capability of our customers, through the provision of application solutions, software components and comprehensive services to enable better business decisions.
Our Mission
  • Build our customer relationships on business partnerships rather than supplier/customer transactions
  • Implement an optimal solution for our customers, in terms of presentation and exploitation of data and to provide a user-friendly interface to the data warehouse.
  • Deliver solutions that will meet the long term needs of our customers
  • Research new technologies and methodologies to enhance our extensive skills range.
  • Develop and expand our Training Academy; an initiative to develop and improve skills within the entire business intelligence lifecycle.

In April 2006, Uranus Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd did an ICT BEE deal with KID through its broad-based subsidiary company Leshume Solutions (Pty) Ltd. The significant minority shareholders of Leshume Solutions include women, the disabled, business and professional persons, each totalling about 150 investors. Leshume Solutions purchased 26% of Knowledge Integration Dynamics, which has been is beneficial to both companies and supports our long-term business strategies and goals.
